KorTerra Completes a Successful 2016 Annual User Conference

Chanhassen, MN (October 12, 2016) – KorTerra, the underground facility damage prevention software provider and One Call Center solutions company, recently completed its 2016 User Conference on October 4-6 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN.  The conference provided an opportunity for learning, collaborating and networking for customers in the underground damage prevention industry. Over the three-day event KorTerra hosted a golfing event, networking reception, and Minnesota themed dinner including a Bag Toss and Ladder Ball Tournament.

The conference provided attendees with over 10 hours of informative presentations. The KorTerra team spent Wednesday morning showcasing KorWeb’s newest features and how the increased mobile capabilities are streamlining ticket processing even further. The day ended by sharing plans for future product development as well as how KorTerra’s product roadmap approach and “agile” software development processes take ideas and turns them into reality.

“The user conference is an important tool for us to learn more about where our clients want us to take the software,” stated Chris Stendal, President of KorTerra. "It also gives us the opportunity to demonstrate to our clients that we are the industry leader.”

New to the conference this year were the Interactive Breaks between presentations. The KorTerra Support and Sales staff were available to meet 1-on-1 with attendees to provide product demos and allow hands-on interaction with the KorTerra Damage Prevention Suite. These breaks also allowed time for attendees to visit with representatives from conference guest presenters Rust-Oleum, Enertech, Opvantek, and Tri-Global Technologies.

On Thursday, the Product Deep Dive and Brainstorming Session wrapped up the conference. Attendees were engaged with seeing the new KorWeb functionality in action which led to usability discussions, especially on advancing mobility.

At this year’s conference, attendees had the opportunity to win prizes by answering fun Minnesota themed trivia questions throughout and participating in a Bag Toss and Ladder Ball Tournament on Wednesday evening.
